留学生开学典礼讲话【1】
Good afternoon everyone!
My name is Pamela Smith also known as 施美乐. I have lived in Beijing two and a half years. I am from the Bahamas which is a chain of small islands near America. It is for that reason that when I first came to China I did not know what to expect.
During registration for my first year of school, I walked into a room and was shocked because I was looking at people from countries that I have never seen or heard of. There were people from all over the world, French, Korean, Indonesian, Japanese.
As time went by I began to appreciate all the different cultures of the students that attended BUU. It was good to get to talk with people from each country.
When I began classes, I was afraid because I had never studied Chinese before but as time passed, I realized that it would be fun and not so frightening to learn because I had the help of my teachers and other students in my class.
My few years at BUU I have learnt more than just classroom lesson; I have learned how to communicate with people from different cultures and speak another language. I am very happy to be a part of the BUU's diverse school body.
So I would say to you all, don't be nervous or afraid to step out of your comfort zone. Explore Beijing, take advantage of the support you receive from your teachers, classmates and other individuals you meet and learn as much as possible from them.
There may be difficult times, but there is no doubt in my mind that you can get through them and be successful with your education and future career.
Be open minded and seized each and every opportunity that comes your way.

亲爱的同学们、尊敬的老师们：
大家下午好!经过了一个平安、愉快的寒假，我们满怀着新的希望迎来了生机勃勃的20**年。新的一年开启新的希望，新的空白承载新的梦想。为了让我们的梦想能成为现实，在这里，我给同学们提几点希望和要求：
第一，树立一个信心：我能我行。
自信心对我们的学习很重要。我们读书学习，需要有决心、有信心、有行动。在这儿要送大家三句话：“相信自己，我能成功!鼓励自己，天天成功!超越自己，一定成功!”第二，创立一种学风：认真刻苦
新学期开始，我们要在全班创立一种优良的学习风气。凡事从“认真”开始，认认真真地读书，认认真真地上课，认认真真地做作业。学业成功的过程离不开勤奋和刻苦。
第二，培养一个习惯：自觉自愿。
学业进步，贵在自觉。我们要在老师的`指引下，培养自己良好的行为习惯、学习习惯和生活习惯，要自觉自愿遵守小学生守则和学校的规章制度，学校的教室的桌凳、墙壁不要乱涂、乱刻、乱画，严禁随地吐痰、随地乱扔纸屑、果皮、包装袋等垃圾。班干部要加强督查。要培养相互关心、助人为乐等好品质，让学校真正成为我们学习的乐园。
第三，创设一个环境：文明有序。
上学的路上要严格遵守交通规则，严禁在上学、放学的路上玩耍、追逐。乘车的同学要文明乘车。在校时，必须严格遵守学校的各项规章制度，严禁在教室里、走廊上、活动场所追逐打闹，每个班级都是学校的缩影，每个学生都代表学校的形象，每寸校园都代表学校面貌，同学们要做到语言文明，行为文明，说话不带脏字，不欺负小同学，在家尊重父母。在社会，做一个爱国爱民、遵纪守法、诚实守信、文明礼貌的优秀小公民。
第四，练就一个健康体魄：持之以恒。
请大家记住：我们只要有一个健康的身体，才能投入到学习生活中去，同学们要积极参加阳光体育活动，掌握一项拿手的体育特长，持之以恒地坚持练好。
第五，熟知学校校规，认真遵守。
老师们、同学们，新学期奋进的号角已经吹响，让我们一起努力，共同放飞心中的理想，用实际行动铸造移穰小学新的辉煌!
最后，祝老师们身体健康、家庭幸福、工作顺利!祝同学们快乐学习、快乐生活、快乐成长!
