晋祠的参天古树也给人以深刻的印象。周柏，又名"齐年柏"，相传为西周时所植，由于年代久远，树身已向南倾斜约40度，但仍充满了生机。隋槐在祠内的关帝庙内，老枝纵横，盘根错节。
难老泉，素有"晋阳第一泉"之誉，与侍女像、齐年柏并称"晋祠三绝"。因它晶莹澄澈，畅流不断，人们便以"难老"名之，泉水常年保持在17℃，灌溉着附近数万亩稻田。李白、范仲淹等大诗人都曾写过赞美难老泉的诗。
